In 1985, the Nevada Commission on Tourism formed the Nevada Territories. The six Nevada territories were created to promote the unique characteristics of each area. Nevada has much more than gaming to offer visitors, as you will see as you explore this web site.

Pioneer Territory (aka: The Solitudes) is Nevada's largest territory. It extends from the beautiful community of Pahrump in the South, to the historic community of Dayton in the Northwest (see map).
